it’s no way to live
all your hopes and fears were
whispered into some dead rabbit’s ears...

I'm so glad you finally submitted something new. This is absolutely fantastic work. :+favlove:

Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

although dead animals make me quite sad i secretly think it's beautiful when flowers grow aroundin them and i imagine that they feel better that way
:iconiworewaterwings:
what is your process like?
:iconseneschal:
I like this better than the gray version. The green has a lower value and makes the bunny pop out more.
The color scheme does faintly remind me of a 1980's floral potholder, but it goes with the nature theme you seem to have.

Poor dead bunny. It is now fertilizer.

I don't mind at all. Add whatever you like!

hard to say. It's different for every piece, but I usually start off with an idea and I do a bit of visual reasearch. For this piece I had a photograph of a dead rabbit in several positions and an old book illustration of some tiger lillies. I do a quick sketch, plan out the colors, then do the large drawing on the linoleum. Then the carving and printing begins lightest color (in this case, peach) to darkest color (black).

haha. I agree with your color choice comparison, but I was thinking more a 1970's davenport or something.
